In our previous post, “Exhibition Industry Growth Trends for 2025“, we unpacked the data from the UFI report that shows the exhibition industry is back! A key component to the post-COVID recovery of the events industry is the ECA. The Exhibitions and Conferences Alliance formed specifically to change COVID legislation that negatively impacted the events industry. ECA Legislative Action Day 2025 will take place on May 29th and aims to build on previous accomplishments of the organization. The efforts of the ECA have helped all stakeholders affected by the economic activity produced from the industry. Additionally, many of the legislative efforts are used as templates to create legislation that positively impacts the economy!

Event professionals around the world are still obsessed with COVID. In 2025, the virus and impact from it rarely make main stream headlines and it is almost a thing of the past.
